Just Believe

In my prayer time this morning, I asked God what He wanted to say to His people. He said

tell them to just believe! Before Jesus did many miracles while He walked the earth, He asked them, "Do you believe?" In God's Word, it says "According to your faith, be it unto you!" That tells us that in order for us to receive a miracle, God requires something of us. God requires for us to believe His promises. God requires that we believe that His Word is true!

I cannot even imagine how many miracles are forfeited due to unbelief! Namaan, in 2 Kings 5 almost forfeited his miracle. Because of the fact that the miracle did not come the way he expected, he almost remained leprous for the entirety of his life! By the grace of God, he listened to wise advice, humbled himself and obeyed what God told him to do. "Obedience is better than sacrifice" (1 Samuel 15:22).

In this hour, where there is social unrest all around, the COVID-19 pandemic is running rampant, people are in dire straights financially, and many are not anchored to a place of worship where they are hearing the Word of God for their lives...believing God is a challenge! I want to encourage you to get alone with God on a daily basis, extract affirmations from God's Word that ignite faith on the inside of you. Begin to declare those words over your life day and night. Repent of all fear, doubt, unbelief and every ungodly belief. Spend time in worship, acknowledging that Almighty God is Sovereign and in control. Ask God to help you to believe that His promises are "yeah and amen!" Then just believe! Know that your miracle will come to pass if you just believe! This your time! This is your season! Trust and God and JUST BELIEVE! What is stopping you?
