Are you familiar with the story of Mephibosheth? His grandfather, King Saul, opened the door to a generational curse in his life and it negatively effected his outcome. When running from an attack, when he was five years old, his nurse dropped him. It was someone he trusted, someone who was protect him. How many of us have been "dropped" so to speak by someone who was supposed to take care of us? How many of us have had to try and press past a curse - feeling handicapped on some level - emotionally, spiritually, or even physically? But God!
In 2 Samuel 9:1-13 - be
cause of Johnathan's loyalty to God (and David) broke the curse. When we honor God, when we honor God's people, we begin to get God's attention and to break the curse. I hear the Lord say that "It is only what we do for Christ that will last." What are you doing to bless someone's life? Are you being the arms and legs (the Body) of Christ Himself in the earth?
