Perservere in Prayer! God Hears You!

This message is for someone who has been praying and praying and seemingly has gotten no answer. I want you to know that God hears you. Hold on! Your help is on the way! In I Kings 18, Elijah got down on his knees and prayed for rain. He sent his servant out to look and there was no sign of rain. That is how some of us are feeling. We have been praying, but there is no sign of things changing. For some, a spirit of discouragement has set in. God wants me to encourage you, "Don't be discouraged!" The servant looked 6 times and there was no sign of rain.

Some of us have been holding onto the promises of God and there is no sign of them coming to pass. Let me remind you that "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1). We are in a spiritual battle! Ephesians 6 :12 says "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Daniel 10:12 reminds us that even the warring angels that are dispatched on our behalf can be held up in warfare. Daniel's angel was held up for 21 days! Yet. both Elijah and Daniel perservered and received the victory! I want to encourage you to perservere in prayer. Also, remember that some spirits do not move but by fasting and by prayer. Therefore, if you need to fast and pray to receive your breakthrough...do what you need to do in order to get what you need from God. This IS your season! This IS your time! Press into God to receive your breakthrough! Are you willing to do what it takes to get your move from God?
